What is a prepaid phone card?
When you buy a prepaid phone card from us, you are paying for long distance connection time in advance. You can make domestic or international calls regardless of your long distance provider.

How does a prepaid phone card work?
You dial an access(toll free) number from a touch tone phone. You will then be prompted for your PIN number which you key into your phone. The Calling card will inform you of your remaining balance and ask you to dial your phone number.

Does a prepaid phone card expire?
Most prepaid calling cards usually have expiration date. Most will expire 3-6 months after its first use.

What is a connection fee?
This fee is billed for every call that is connected. The call is considered connected if the phone has been answered or picked up by answering machine, fax machine, voice mail, privacy director features or pagers.

What is a connection fee?
The rate you will be billed for each minute of the conversation.

What is a maintenance fee?
A scheduled fee. It can be weekly, semi-monthly or monthly, sometimes daily. This is applied after the first use. It can be right after the first use or some companies apply it 24 hours after the first use.

What is a pay phone fee?
FCC mandated fee that is collected every time you use the pay phone, regardless of the connection to the final destination.

What are taxes and service fees?
A percentage based fee that is assessed upon the cost of the call. They could be as high as 30% and are calculated once the call is over.

What should I do if I have a problem using my phone card?
The best thing to do is to call the customer service number we provide with your pin. This toll free number connects you to the service department at the company that controls the access number and value of the pins for their phone card.

How do I know the number of minutes left on my card?
Every time you use your card, before each call the system will inform you of the credit left on that card.

Why my minutes are reduced sometimes when dial a number, but noboby answer?

The actual call begins 30-45 seconds after the phone start ringing, even if nobody answer the phone. If you do not get an answer in the first 25-30 seconds, after the first ring, please hang-up and call again.

Can I recharge my card?
No. Phonecard-store.com does not offer rechargable phone cards. Once you have used up all of your minutes, you will need to purchase another card.
